Sailing has never seemed so simple. When the wind blows, the Tandem Island flies across the water, powered by an expansive, easily tended mainsail.

Hop aboard with a friend. With dual MirageDrive 180s providing forward and reverse pedal power, maneuvering is a snap even when the zephyrs subside. Our patented Kick-Up Fins automatically “kick-up” on contact with an underwater obstacle. The central hull is pure high-end Hobie with all the expected features: multiple Twist and Seal hatches; a large bow hatch for below-decks storage; lever-operated rudder and centerboard deployment; and dual rudder control. This is Hobie’s ultimate fish hunter, capable of marlin-teasing trolling speeds.

An efficient corkscrew mechanism ratchets down this hatch, keeping stowed items secure irrespective of the sea state. The lid is permanently attached to its base via a hinge, so you don't have to worry about leaving it at last night's campground. The rear hatch includes gear bucket.

The Hobie Mirage Tandem Island comes standard with a built-in transducer mount and includes through-hull cable plugs (Lowrance transducer not included).

• Cassette Plug (x2)

Insert the plugs into the Mirage well when the MirageDrive is removed to provide added safety to prevent limbs or other items from slipping into the well and to “fair” the bottom of the hull when paddling.
